Welcome to Metric Time. Here a day is divided into 10 Metric hours, each Metric hour is made up of 100 Metric minutes and each Metric minute equals 100 Metric seconds.
The clock on the right covers a whole day unlike the traditional 12 hours: it is not necessary to distinguish between morning and afternoon with am/pm. Midday occurs at 5.00, Midnight at 10.00.
For comparison:
86,400 seconds is equal to 100,000 Metric seconds and 1,440 Minutes is equal to
1,000 Metric minutes.
