TV Guide — Poster
Using the TV listings for Christmas Day I was asked to create a poster which would fit on one A2 sheet. We were restricted to one typeface and
two colours, although tints were allowed.
I wanted to create a system that made it easy to compare what was on various channels at the same time. I split the content into five categories, Entertainment, Film, Documentary,
Children’s and Sport. Because TV is aimed for different demographics at different times of the day I had to create a flexible column system to allow for more of certain genres at peak times. The poster was divided vertically by time so that you could easily see what was on at any moment.
