For this brief we were asked to research and analyse the Royal Bank of Scotland identity. Using the information collected we were then required to show what we would do to change the brand.
I wanted to move away from the Scottish heritage as the Royal Bank of Scotland is a global bank, I decided to continue using the acronym, RBS. Their colour palette needed a fresher, more modern approach. Finally I found their existing mark quite inward looking and wanted to simplify it to create a forward looking bank.
