Oliver Bothwell — Eureka iPad app

Eureka iPad app

Shortly after the original iPad launch I worked with The Times’s Eureka team to create a one-off iPad application exploring how the science of sport is changing the human race. We took the essence of the Eureka magazine – fantastic photography and thought provoking articles – and combined with interactive features and graphics to create this rich editorial application.

We created a specially designed navigation that allows non-linear exploration of the app whilst also providing an overview of its entire contents. We commissioned Applied Works to create the opening animation which immediately familiarises users with the app’s interface; and worked with TigerSpike who developed and coded the application.
